Television Stars Shikha Pandey, Ssshrey Pareek and Prachi Bansal Join Debutant Tejas Dev in the Gripping Social Thriller Oye Chill Maar

Mumbai: Oye Chill Maar, the upcoming Hindi social psychological thriller, is all set to release in theatres on 4th September 2026. Directed and edited by Nitin M. Rokade, the film explores the darker side of social media obsession, where the pursuit of online fame, validation and popularity pushes individuals beyond moral boundaries.

The story follows four close friends whose lives take an unexpected turn as love, friendship, hidden secrets and shocking events unfold. At its centre is Prem, a young man struggling with childhood trauma and a fractured personality, who becomes entangled in a web of mystery, deception and unsettling truths. Blending suspense, romance, humour and emotional drama, the film also delivers a powerful message on responsible parenting, emotional well-being and the long-lasting effects of childhood experiences.

Leading the film is debutant Tejas Dev, a young and promising actor making his Bollywood debut with Oye Chill Maar. He is joined by popular television faces Ssshrey Pareek, known for Paanch: 5 Wrongs Make a Right, Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Qurbaan Hua; Shikha Pandey, recognised for Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Mehndi Wala Ghar and Mannat: Har Khushi Paane Ki; and Prachi Bansal, known for Thapki Pyar Ki 2 and Shrimad Ramayan. The ensemble is further supported by talented actors Atul Tiwari, Sujeet Asthana, Prashant Mohite and Sufiya, who add further depth and authenticity to the film's narrative.

Marking an auspicious beginning to the promotions, the entire cast and crew recently visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, where they also unveiled the film's first poster. The fresh and intriguing poster has generated excitement within the team, offering an impactful introduction to the ensemble while hinting at the film's mystery, emotions and youthful energy.

 With the film now cleared by the Censor Board, Oye Chill Maar is all set to arrive in theatres on 4th September 2026. Blending suspense, humour, emotion and socially relevant themes, the film promises an engaging, edge-of-the-seat cinematic experience.
